# What is Captur?

Captur is an asset management protocol exclusively for crypto assets. It does two things:

First, it makes it super simple for skilled crypto traders to become asset managers and get paid for their trading performance.

Second, it allows investors of all proficiency levels to put their crypto to work with these skilled traders via three investment products: single trade ideas, portfolios, and baskets. Holders of the protocol’s own governance token named CAPT decide how the protocol is run and can participate in one of the protocol’s special features called portfolio insurance.
